Waldorf

The Waldorf approach to education offers a developmentally appropriate and experiential education. This method integrates the arts in all of the spheres of academics to enrich learning.

The goal of this style is to inspire lifelong learning and to enable children to fully develop their unique talents and abilities. Some of the core elements to a Waldorf education are music, dance and theater, writing, literature, legends, and myths. Another marker of a Waldorf education is that academics are de-emphasized in the early years of schooling. Instead children are encouraged to experience the world around them through play, time in nature, and stories.
