My kids have been loving doing these. My youngest is still too young to really do the worksheets, but he likes being included with school time.
I love how beautiful & useful this entire curriculum is! So easy to use and wonderful books and activities included.
We LOVE this bible study! We were using Idle Wild's bible study but it was so much to try to accomplish on top of everything else and the topics just weren't fully resignating with our younger kiddos. Rooted Family has been a dream! Deeper conversations, easy to follow guides, and easy to accomplish within the attention span of our littles! We will 100% be utilizing future studies from Treehouse Schoolhouse!
I had purchased a nature study from another company a few years ago and it never “worked” for my family. It didn’t come with the art prints or poems; I needed to dig through the internet to find copies of these when referenced in that study. It didn’t serve us well. This study is beautiful and so well thought out. We are all so excited for this to enrich our schooling!
I just want to thank you for writing and publishing such a beautiful advent Christmas curriculum. This was our first year dropping everything else and just focusing on Christmas between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We used your Connected Christmas curriculum and what a blessing it has been to our family. After completing our last lesson, it was so bittersweet to be officially done with Christmas school! We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of your Christmas school curriculum. Our favorite read alouds were: Christmas Tapestry, An Orange for Frankie, and The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey. Although we truly enjoyed them all! The activities were engaging and fun, and our children even sung one of the hymns and recited one of the poems we had studied during Christmas school for our church’s Christmas Eve service.
I have the special blessing of homeschooling alongside my two sisters and their families and how special it was to do Christmas school altogether each morning with my own children aged 8 years old, 7 years old, 3 years old, and 17 months, along with my nieces and nephews aged 14 years old, 10 years old, 7 years old, and 5 years old. Even my parents who live nearby were able to join in most mornings! We chatted many mornings about what joy it brought all of us to sit together in the parlor of my sisters’ farmhouse where my dad grew up, watching the swirling snowflakes dance outside the window, and celebrate this advent season through the Connected Christmas curriculum! These are memories we will cherish forever and new traditions we will continue for years to come! We can’t wait to do your Christmas Around the World curriculum next year! Thank you again!
I love this curriculum. My daughter (4) is so engaged and interested and asking questions. She loves finding the egg! The activities are perfect. She doesn’t complete the writing portions but am saving them for when she’s older.y cup feels filled after our lesson each day. Very happy!
Using this as a middle schoolers LA rather than more worksheets great for having them really think about the ideas and concepts that are underlying the story while still giving them guidance. Also helps that there’s a lot of great options to choose from.
Never did I think I'd become a homeschooling mom, so getting started with curriculum planning at first felt overwhelming, but no longer! I have such confidence moving forward with this as our baseline, and with all that it provides, such freedom to layer in other things that feel important to our family. :)
My 9 year old and 5 year old are really enjoying this curriculum. We are in Germany (unable to homeschool) and don't have lots of time to complete everything in one go, but it's really easy to pick and choose activities and go back to some later. We are also really enjoying all the biblical content and Friday lesson ideas! The curriculum is excellent and I love how versatile it is. Looking forward to doing more with my children.

This Easter study is so beautiful. I love how each day is planned out from the scripture, to the art, hymns, poetry and craft as well as feedback on how the kids can narrate back to you.(something we’ve really been working on!) This planner is just what I needed. It is so customizable and really helps me to see my week laid out. At first, I wished I could order a hard copy, but I actually really love that I can print and bind it myself because there are some pages that I didn't really need, so the customization is endless.
My family and I have absolutely loved these seasonal nature studies! All ages in my house love sitting and learning together with this wonderfully curated year long set of lessons! This encourages the combination of nature, art, poetry and creativity together in a beautiful study that makes it easy as a Momma of multiple aged kids to prep and teach my tribe! I can’t recommend these nature studies enough!
I love the look of everything, it pulls you in and makes you want to get started. I was a little hyper as my guy is only one, but I like prepping the books and learning the hand rhymes.
